Enjoy the wonderful colours of Autumn on our Country Parks
The beautiful colours of Autumn are becoming evident across the Leicestershire countryside and particularly so throughout our varied Country Parks landscapes. The autumn is a great time to visit one of Leicestershire’s country parks – the vibrant colours veiled by low lying mists during an early morning walk, illuminated by sunlight throughout the day and complimented by colourful autumn skies in the evening.
Foliage colours will become more vivid during October and November – a visit to the arboretum at Market Bosworth Country Park will be rewarded with the crimson and gold colours of the Japanese Maples.
The Beech trees in the woodlands at Beacon Hill will form a golden canopy and after leaf fall, the amber foliage will carpet the woodland floor.
