Focusing on the health and wellbeing of everyone is our top priority.

People who are able to access our parks are welcome to visit as part of their daily exercise but we are asking that social distancing guidelines are followed at all times, staying two metres apart from others and keeping dogs on leads.

Following the latest Government announcement, car parks are now open. However, playgrounds, toilets, cafes and other visitor facilities are closed and will remain closed until further notice.

Our number one priority is to keeping people safe. To help ensure this, we are reducing our capacity in car parks, installing additional signage and increasing the presence of wardens and rangers on site. Ticket machines are regularly sanitised but we ask that you use contactless payment where possible and follow Government hygiene recommendations – using gloves for shared surfaces e.g ticket machines and regularly sanitising hands.

Our car parks will close when they are 80% full. This is to give you more space to park away from other cars. At busy times we expect this may make entering and exiting our car parks slower so we ask that you please be patient if this happens.

If you’re a regular visitor, our season tickets are automatically contactless. Find out about applying for a season ticket on the council’s webpage.

Staying safe in these unprecedented times is vital and we’d encourage everyone to keep up to date with the latest government guidance at www.gov.uk/coronavirus.

Please be rest assured that we will continue to monitor the situation and will post any further updates on this website and our social media channels.
