Coronavirus update (covid-19) - July 2021
Country parks are open as usual. Social distancing requirements have been lifted, but we're asking visitors to remain mindful and try to keep a safe distance from others
Beacon Hill Café, 1485 Tithe Barn and the Colliery Cafe, are providing both eat-in and takeaway services. Opening hours vary, check the social media channels for the latest information:
Help us to keep our country parks safe and enjoyable for all visitors by respecting the Countryside Code and bylaws.
– Keep dogs under close control
– Leave gates and property as you find them
– Do not pick wild flowers or remove any other flora
– Do not swim in any of our lakes or ponds, nor let your dog(s) swim
– Do not light fires

All our parks are open every day. Beacon, Watermead North and Market Bosworth Country Parks car parks allow entry from 7am each morning until the following times:
December – January – 4pm
February – 5pm
March – 6pm
April – 7pm
May – August – 8pm
September – 7pm
October – 6pm
November – 5pm
We do not permit overnight parking or camping.
Free parking and access available from the Outwoods or from Woodhouse Lane.
If you are a regular visitor to Leicestershire County Council Country Parks you could save money with a car park Season Ticket, which is valid for all our parks. For just £60 (plus £10 deposit) you could save money and eliminate the hassle of searching for change every visit.
