Coronavirus (covid-19) update - January 2021
With England in a national lockdown, the Government advice is to stay at home.
It is against the law to meet socially with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble. You can only leave your home to exercise, and not for the purpose of recreation or leisure (e.g. a picnic or a social meeting). This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.
If one of our country parks is local to you and you’re looking to use this space for outdoor exercise, please make sure you do so in line with the latest government guidance on exercise.
Full information on what you can and cannot do can be found on the government website.
Please check our Facebook page for any further updates before you decide to visit.
Thank you for your co-operation and stay safe.
The newly regenerated Snibston Colliery Park has now re-opened. Visitors can learn more about the story of Coalville and there’s a host of new features including the Colliery Café, Snibston Heritage Trail, a play area and Grange Nature Reserve.

We’re encouraging all our customers to stay safe in these unprecedented times by staying at home as much as possible and keeping your distance from anyone you don’t live with if you are exercising in our country parks.
